Slash & Axl are Friends Again Thanks To... Fred Durst?

By now you have heard that the two of Guns N' Roses MVP's have rekindled their friendship, giving us all hope for a possible GNR reunion concert. But recently a third party has come forward to claim credit to this miracle. Now you're probably wondering, "Who is this this rock n' roll saint? This heavy metal bringer of peace? Did Pope Francis become a GNR fan?"

According to Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, he says he's the one responsible.  At their recent show at the Reading Festival, Durst and company belted out their cover of "Sweet Child O' Mine" before breaking the news to the audience. "I'd like you to know that we're responsible for Axl and Slash being back together. We had a meeting and it went really well."

Whether it's true or not, Axl and Slash have yet to confirm or deny Durst's claims.
