Guns N' Roses Bassist: "I Really Have No Idea What's Going On"

Are you confused as to whether or not there's going to be a Guns N' Roses reunion consisting of all of the original members? Well the feeling extends all of the way to the current GNR members themselves.
Bassist Tommy Stinson recently said in Minnesota's Star Tribune that his "status in the group [is] up in the air." "I reach out once in a while to that crew of people - a lot of whom are also my good friends - but I really have no idea what's going on," Stinson says. "I didn't quit the gig or walk away from it. We just all sort of left it in Vegas."
Tommy Stinson has been a member of Guns N' Roses since 1998 and he recently finished a tour with his previous college-rock band The Replacements. "I'll be honest with you: [Rose] was always very good to me, and it was always a really good gig," he says. "It wasn't necessarily the easiest gig, but it was always good. I have nothing but gratitude for it. If they got [the modern lineup] together again and wanted me to play, of course I'd have to think about it."
It's unfortunate that even the individuals in Axl Rose's closest circles are unaware of Guns N' Roses' future, but it also does illustrate the high-level of secrecy surrounding the issue. Or maybe nothing is going on at all. At this point, there really is no way to be sure.
