CONFIRMED: Guns N' Roses To Headline Coachella In 2016

For months it has been rumor after rumor after rumor. Theory after theory whether or not âÂÂGuns N' Roses will reunite.
According to Billboard, the founding members of Guns N' Roses Axl Rose and Slash, along with bassist Duff KcKagan will be headlining the Coachella Music & Arts Festical in Indio, CA from April 15-17 and April 22-24. There has been no word whether the other original members Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler will be appearing as well. âÂÂConsequence of Sound reports that Matt Sorum is on board, while conflicting reports say that current drummer Frank Ferrer and guitarist Richard Fortus are attached.
The band is negotiating with promoters to play as many as 25 football stadiums across North America in the summer of 2016, and is even staled to play at the new Las Vegas Arena, which is set to open on April 6th. Guns N' Roses is asking as much as $3 million per show, with ticket prices topping out in the $250-$275 range.
It has been over twenty years since Axl Rose and Slash shared the stage together. The last time the original Guns N' Roses played together was on July 17th, 1993 at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires.
Band reps, Coachella producer Paul Tollett, and agent Ken Fermaglich at United Talent Agency could not be reached for comment surrounding the reunion tour. Execs at AEG, which will be operating the new Las Vegas Arena, also did not immediately respond for comment.
Coachella has built a reputation of headlining huge acts out of retirement like Rage Against The Machine in 2007, My Bloody Valentine in 2009, Pulp in 2012, Tupac's holographic return in 2012, and Outkast in 2014,
