Watch Evanescence's Powerfully Emotional Anti-Suicide Video For "Imperfection"

Evanescence has always had a taste for the dramatic. Ever since their smash hit "Bring Me To Life", lead singer Amy Lee and company would add some extra theatrics to their music videos, and the new "Imperfection" is no different.

Opening to the tune of some light piano, we are introduced to a young girl who is visibly distraught after watching a loved one be wheeled away on a stretcher into an ambulance. In an interview with NME, Lee states that to her "Imperfection" may be the most important song on their new album Synthesis because she sings from the perspective of someone that has lost others that succumbed to suicide and despression.

The lyrics themselves give hope to those suffering from depression with suicidal thoughts, "Don't you dare surrender. I'm still right beside you, 'cause I could never replace you, perfect imperfection."
