Nickelback Signs Deal With BMG; Prepares For Ninth Studio Album

It was announced on Wednesday January 25th, 2017 that Nickelback has signed a new record deal with BMG Records.

The band has also announced that they will be working on their ninth studio album, and that they have prepared a "major" announcement on February 1st. In a statement released by the band, "We are honored to partner with the global BMG team and look forward to releasing new music for our fans." They continued, saying "Sharing our vision and passion with such a dedicated team while being surrounded by some of the greatest music artists of all time is very humbling and we couldn’t be more excited."

Nickelback's first seven albums. which included the successful Silver Side Up and The State were released under the label Roadrunner Records. Their eighth album No Fixed Address was released under Republic Records.
