Blink-182 Announces New Song 'Bored To Death', Album Release & Tour Dates

With the departure of Tom DeLonge and the addition of Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio, Blink-182 has finally announced details of their anticipated 2016 album California and U.S. tour dates. They have also released their first single "Bored To Death", which you can listen to below:
California is expected to be released on July 1st, and will be the first Blink-182 without Tom DeLonge. Tensions accumulated between DeLonge and his former bandmates Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus over the creative direction of the band. Since his departure, Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio was brought on board to tour and record with Blink-182. When asked about what it was like to be working on new music, Travis Barker said in an interview "It's awesome because we're all actually in the studio, where we couldn't get that with the old lineup. It was impossible to get all three of us in the same studio." With the addition of Skiba in place of DeLonge, "It's just exciting. It's a new chapter and we're not striving for mediocrity, we're looking to kill it."
With the release of their new album, Blink-182 will also be touring throughout North America from July into October with A Day To Remember and DJ Spinder, along with the All American Rejects for the first half of the tour, and All Time Low for the second half.
