Trent Reznor & Atticus Rose Dedicate Song To NASA's Jupiter Mission
While Nine Inch Nails fans patiently await for a new album, Trent Reznor and longtime collaborator Atticus Ross released the trailer for their new song "Juno," which is dedicated to NASA's Juno Mission to enter the orbit of Jupiter within a week.
According to Apple Music, the entire song is described as "a chilling soundscape of unspeakable beauty," "deeply cinematic," with hints of "feverish atmospherics," "chains of glassy melody" and "haunting textures."
NASA's Juno Mission first launched in 2011 and is expected to enter Jupiter's orbit by July 4th, an achievement that no other spacecraft has ever reached before.
Reznor and Ross have both worked on numerous projects throughout the years, including writing the original soundtracks to The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
