Axl Rose Believed Slash's Soul Died After His Drug Overdose

A&R Executive Tom Zutaut, who is responsible for signing Guns N' Roses, recalls a moment where he believes was the turning point in Axl Rose and Slash's relationship.
Zutaut believes that the infamous Axl vs Slash feud began after Slash overdosed on heroin was was "dead" for eight minutes. "Axl genuinely believes the soul of Saul Hudson left his body when Slash OD'd," Tom says in the documentary "The Most Dangerous Band in The World."
"This is the greatest stumbling block to getting the band back together."
It would seem that both Axl and Slash have managed to tackle this obstacle to some degree, which is apparently enough to reunite together onstage. It is also enough for them to release a statement, mocking individuals like Steven Tyler, Fred Durst, and Andrew Dice Clay, claiming to have some sort of responsibility to influence the band to get back together.
