Sits down with count to discuss his hopes for a breakout rookie season. But first. As far as race results and what a story there with Cody has skins we saw the story about then just finish in the car up late Thursday night very little sleep. These guys were just gonna take the car to the track to you just shake it down and lo and behold it looks like nothing sternum a lot better form. Not one but two feature event winds to kick off their season Cody asking is picking up two checkered flags last Saturday night at Greenville Pickens speedway. Greenville Pickens will be back in action with late model competition on April the first weather is similar over division action that will be taking place the balance of this month. Came away with a late model wins they're next event is a Saturday night twin forties. For the late model stock cars are pretty all the way back to the ice breaker just a few weeks ago in Myrtle Beach in one of the openings I had was a better watch out we leave polian gets off to a good start as did Doug Ko be. Meanwhile on the West Coast Tucson speedway which hosted the chilly Willy won fifty a few weeks ago one of the first tracks to kick into high gear. I'll but yeah you're right there are some tracks that have that are opening up down south we mentioned victory in southern national. Greenville Pickens earlier in the show and this weekend caraway speedway. Which plays host as some might NASCAR racing during the course of the summer months will open up march 12. For their season opener this coming weekend. The only track I think that is scheduled to open up with points paying NASCAR racing this weekend. That will be opening up or at least given fans a chance. And I mean I know you probably did this as well before we got the NASCAR racing and we read our own home tracks. I couldn't wait till practice day I mean they had car shows. And then the very next week or that weekend there was practiced a adding care there weren't numbers on the cars or whatever I just want to see a car on the track. I was the same way I'll always go to Thompson or Stafford during the open practice days usually. A couple days after like you mentioned a car show when one local malls or something and then. You know you get to see him on the racetrack a couple of days later in the and it's always fun to see. The new color schemes in the new numbers and yell and a lot of cases. So new drivers moving up we're gonna see a lot of that up here this year Stafford motor speedway ask daylight drivers moving and SK modified some. Yeah it's going to be a fun year and this is always a fun time a year to see who's going where. And speaking to driver changes they were caught a few in the KN pro series west I think there's still some unanswered questions with some of the major teams and we look forward to finding those answers. Going back to the Napa 500 challenge it is coming up next weekend beginning in Tucson speedway. You said you had the opportunity to talk to series director Chris writing and they are anticipating and I would think so a very healthy field of cars out there next weekend. Yet Chris Wright of course if you're not aware listening in he's gonna be the director for both McCain and east and west a lot of frequent flyer miles coming from him. This season had a chance to talk with him earlier in the weekend. He is very excited about the cane and west lineup they're gonna have heat estimates between 22 to 26 race car show up which is up. By about four cars from a year ago and and you mentioned some of the changes. Bill Mac finale racing we'll have Derek Krause on board this year full time in the west joining Chris Eggleston who won the championship two years ago and Todd gill and who won the championship last year. We haven't heard from Jefferson pits racing yet and at that point oh mark there you know what's their deal. And he guarantee me they'd have two to three cars. No drivers named yet but two to three cars at Tucson speedway when they go green next week. Sorry that's going to be coming up next weekend marks the eighteenth again.
