Had a good third place Ron call final and a good he was sixteen but really roared back up to the field. Zane Smith another driver we saw him a new samarra. For the season opener with David calabrese on the eastern side and I know he was in the barber and Connie Karr for this particular race but. He's another one you love to see find himself get some roots somewhere with a ride. Great running used to Myrna it was fine albeit he had a penalty to begin the race down there watch him come rocketing up toward the front of the field. It's same type of scenario I guess what's in the same had a scenario started in the deep half of the top ten. How tough is it though to race the track but also key in Ireland to deny your competition as well yeah. Hey you know this real difficult I've never run anything no loud abrasive or retires up the way that myrtle beached itself. It was tough for me you know I'm I'm used to have a somebody you know what I mean you're trying to Rodham now are L rock drive a car started possibly can get the most out of it so. It was tough that it kind of slow myself down and just tell myself you know let him go. We had quite a few caution laps there toward the end that I didn't know you're gonna you're not refight the effect sorts out whereabouts what I'm. And you know a lot of hard when we need to do at the end and then not you know bring on the win. But we're we're close to field them I'd get messed up there and you know luckily we just. But when you think about so many different names and you've been accustomed to seeing up at the top of the board. And Mac Zach in the top five but just give Joseph great indication of the level of competition that's gonna be even tougher this year than ever. Yes certainly not every year it gets more more competitive you know when you. Between Ryan Kris are witty comeback can do you know other teams stepping up their games over the winter. We don't always get tougher every year two run home run up front and you know takes a lot and into making everything happen. You know every year but he is stronger and sharp turn this year more passed on back so. I think yes you a lot of different faces in Victory Lane and not bigger makes a person agrees that the fans so. You know you mix that together with a couple different tracks that nobody's been too are not yet you yourself. A different you for everybody here so it should be really good real exciting for the fans so. I'm not first we don't want now don't test that a little bit emerald meet report the Florida. I didn't know how well race would be Europe it would be exciting for the fans but. A year ago but a mixed bag your results there in four races a year ago you have the wind had a fifth and then you had a twelve on the fifteenth. Thoughts about going to Thomson next weekend and your chances of repeating at the icebreaker in ten days time. You know Thompson those I agree tracks. Whether you're faster not you know spoke who had some really good race cars there and we've brought up front seat and quite a Childress is we just didn't have the exact that you want. I think we'll have another good shot and you know they've got the booming motorsports and stereotype people. There another big race car and Arnold and sure Lola. No I will fight for that's for sure you know it's gonna put ourselves in the in the right position again he you know be Smart you can play the traffic right yeah. I really want to win and then you know I kind of raised serious that's ours that possibly could and tried passing as many cars that could no matter a lot. You know and that's you know you're trying to that's a little bit of a point but. I'm you know exciting first for our team and and everybody about stuff this year it is they're trying to be a little more consistent hopefully revolves more top fives without stand there. Take us through the they did the final stages of this event because we know that Don Dolan as one of the toughest drivers to compete without Aries your teammate. But he's one tough customer to try and meet and take us through those news last laps of the event on a Saturday night. He had no I mean everybody knows Todd guilin got to come to town on the eve he's a name that. That you'll see prior a lot of PG got a bright future at a moment. He won a lot of races last year and and and proud to be routine maintenance branded. They made a right adjustment that's how likely we went in at second segment. And I guess like it thank my other teammate Derek crowd. He got a peek under arrest early in the second segment I think you'll anxious to go and when he did. That kind of forced us bombing outside and I didn't really want to get shuffled back at that time so we kind of rallied on the top only actually drove around top on the outside. Which which it private preferred groove around their shift so hard on tires up there but we will be able we're able to run up their first the last twenty laps and and we had a really solid good car along front car and able to capture first went and 2017 to see them. Seem like a very competitive event in what is shaping up to be a pretty competitive season. Your thoughts on the on the field of competition that you had out at Tucson on Saturday night and what we expect for the rest of the year. Obviously top NBA contender you know that with each week in week out we get to that aircraft that showed a lot of speed mad at bill Mac and I racing teammates. You know finished third out at least some are ninety brand top three majority of the weekend at Tucson. Riley or other email us fast all weekend and he'll be at the next three races and then. You know I think it's well Roger I think Garrett archer fill in and Reggie PR I don't know how many races they're gonna run but they they both had speed all. All weekend long and they kind of came on strong they're both at the end. So I mean I don't know I'm not I'm not under the pressure Julian moved over to come right for you never know she's she's got can get experience from last year. BM don't accelerate next teammate actually run really good at the short tracks. I'm so bright people look out for that and anybody else that comes into this series you know you never know. Hopefully we get some guys. Thought epic earned this start you know this weekend basically. You never know David Mayhew is gonna show up first teammate Johnny lie. So I'm I'm just look at port there that these and you never know hopefully can heavy hitters up amount. The more the merrier I guess it. Well the names may change a little bit with some of the new faces and have come in but one constant theme is the Big Three continue to prove themselves. Bill Mac and Alley racing Barbara county and also Jefferson says they're all in the top five. Over the weekend in the opening race in Tucson let's go back to the offseason the last time talent I saw you. Was back in December here phobia NASCAR banquets a big weekend for you for the NASCAR KN pro series west not the finish she wanted to have in the season. But six of the points but basically. Alluding to the fact that it was somewhat of a doubtful offseason for you leading into this year kind of expand on that a little bit. Yet so I mean like IKEA got a hit not only within a habit that. You know even to show for our performance of last year we had a lot of peaks and valleys and just. You know PD and actually years commit fortunes there and I didn't really know what the 2017. Re keynote kind of brain and so I kind of started trying to pursue. Opportunities and a NASCAR Camping World truck series and she. Try to talk a few teams here in the air we've got a couple mom pop sponsors that we have here locally on our super late model team that they're trying to get them you know. Broaden our horizon that market and the touch and now at how we're getting somewhere. You know maybe late December early January about a cut off fell par and thought didn't really know well we're gonna do. We got our own super late model here in Colorado now we can you know play around what every now and then but. What would be a limited time and everybody so Beatty elderly have a lot of help and stuff so it's hard to get out run some of those big money big chose. And so I made a phone call to build I guess had been late January not stand pat where where there outward their driver line up was then. He made a few phone calls no they're talking. Paul Corbin the man now red apple filters and you know over a few few weeks or so we're able to put another deal together which was really cold and you know coming in fresh. Third full season under his stable and in McCain and series. And they go out and get our first winner either for him delegates Cadillac and a half or if you will and it's pretty cool to get it showed among women. Hopefully you know show them that. Again hopefully they picked the right driver and we go out and contend for the championship with Todd and all of the other guys you mentioned earlier. Now so far so good but the base the big question at least for the next six days is. Can you win this Napa 500 challenger the only driver that can pick up the bonus money 100000 dollar bonus money if he can win all four events you've won the first. You have to events on Saturday night literal when dale and of course before that this Thursday Kern County how would you rate your chances going in to turn here and on Thursday. I mean I I think it can be done. Got a great team in pain everybody behind it you know we've got. Paula got working at shopper really hard prepare for that I will say. You know current problem believe that top receiver mean. I love going to that place celebrate that track just for lottery that I haven't had quite the success I've had there as may be other places such as his daughter Lendale. If we can get through kernel which I think we're taking a little different package than we have the last couple feet the races we've been there. Com and we got speed right only unload and hopefully we can contend for a land we can add to escape out of there with another W I mean now would be amazing not be opt them. Irwindale I'm really looking forward to go to we didn't have quite the speed there last year but the year before we'd won there. I love break and and that's valid track just suits me really well and so grown into a double hatter I feel very optimistic about it so. I would take Hurd is going to be our biggest speech. But I mean they're relaxed they can be done in you know Todd he won a lottery of last year he's going to be our contender at both those races. That he won both those rates of last year but. And it had a couple of test sessions all the drivers very happy they have said to what you've learned about this place in years past. Don't bring it back to the racetrack now it's a completely different racetracks should make a fun season to the South Boston speedway. Many other tried semi practice sessions and will continue in nineteen sports BWAY did their post on their vendor through city won 75 over the weekend that is rescheduled for this. Saturday night in Emily Thompson speedway motorsports park got to practice on the switch over to real quick note. On the win them all American series seems like every week we have a new track joining Coos Bay speedway in Oregon which is a dirt track. The most recent one that store in the NASCAR will all American series located in western Oregon. About two and a half hours southwest of Eugene not far from the Pacific Ocean they were established back in 19820.
