But I think Chris was embracing that challenge when we talked him back in December of doing both east and west this season. Yeah he's go no doubt pick up a lot of frequent flier miles this year but he's excited. He got to know mama a lot of the NASCAR can't west series teams. Last year when he was double dipping once kept Childress left that to order work in the NASCAR national series garage is so. Skip has a little bit of experience in the west and I think that the west teams will be more comfortable with him. Being their full time every week and you know now we're seeing more and more teams run both series like a Todd gill Linden and Jefferson pits racing. Onset so that they know it would be nice to have a familiar face in both garage is on a full time basis. Chris has really been a good guy for the Q and amp programs as has kept and we we wish him the best it was as we see him up of the NASCAR extended the series in the garage is. During some of her MR and weekends. One of the drivers that crystal have a chance to really work with a lot this year she really had a great season last year that's Julia land our shall join us on the show today. Won a definitive mark she made on the program in 2016. And she'd had a great year a year ago her first full season in the Kahne and series and and really first full year outside about. Well shall run this year full time moving over from bill MacKey now erasing. So too strong teams and I look for her to have a good season she wants to be that first driver the first female driver to breaking the Victory Lane there's been a couple of drivers that. I just mentioned Jefferson pitch he had on the cold Bihar that's some of the news that's coming from the TNN pro series west this weekend we have been patiently waiting that. Yeah I'd Vanessa Robinson full timer at Tucson speedway in Arizona the last two years she's also run at Irwindale speedway and in super late models and in late model stock cars has dabbled in the NASCAR Kahne and series but we look forward to make a full on assault this season running for a championship. With Jefferson pitch racing that was set just announced at this week. The other announcement coming in the form will Rogers he really doesn't have a whole lot of seat time. He's been a crew chief on the 27 car Jefferson pits Racine and he has done a little bit race in heavily to Sonoma but tallies gonna be parked behind the wheel one of those Jefferson pits cars this weekend as well. Obviously strong cars and you're right he has done some road racing out their Sonoma as you mentioned a driver that. You know we haven't talked a lot about because he hasn't run full time in and now many. We'll be running it looks like full time for a strong team this is a driver that I expect will get to know over the course of the season will Rogers there's also weigh at third. Driver to be announced among the serve I don't think they've announced yet. On May be about time people here this toward the weekend that it will be a bounce but. Our Grayson rats haven't really heard from him yet so maybe he'll be in that TBA slot on the entry list. OK NN top heavy program especially on the western side as we dissect the Napa 500 challenge coming up this Saturday united Tucson speedway. The schedule one out several weeks ago Myrtle Beach speedway is the beginning for the series and boy are they stacked as far as an entry list is concerned. Yeah they have are. One of the best season opening entry lists I've seen 33 cars in week you know I expect that it's in the south there's a lot of southern cars down there wanting to participate. Then a lot of the notables here Doug Kobe is their Burr Myers Ryan priest back that he partridge you have any size entered with that Eddie Harvey a championship winning team. Wouldn't put cat driving for the good male family now person who that we really haven't seen on the tour. He's been kind of the I guess running all the big money shows appear in New England the last few years and has done really well at running those shows. Not sure this is a one off deal or he plans to run. More these races throughout the course of the season but he'll be there Danny bone Tim Brown both from the south we'll both be in Myrtle Beach it's going to be a great show this weekend. Yeah absolutely at least eight drivers from the south as well we count may be more of the 33 entries that will be at Myrtle Beach this weekend. Now Vanessa Robinson other drivers that are a part of it gratifying is it to see so much female talent. Not only be on the series could be very competitive as well. And I mean it's it's it's really made demands. Through ladies in the world gentlemen do as well I'd. This certainly take pride in the end when matters. Guys or girls move on to the next place and and not have some success some may now. Certainly can't take credit for their success there's certainly gratifying no matter who they came to her through our series. And obviously worthy successor William learns not certainly expect. Just to name is gonna have the same and and that believe Dominique going to be back quit this are part time basis and east. And Nigel just you certainly serve isn't under the steel last year and then all the races this year and and and again Nicole I've stated it's really neat candidates need tremendously solitaire and zero and then the Syrian I'd say kid them you know accustomed of the to the serious Serbs who and I'm gonna get accustomed to the west here surely. The F season opener went for that sores they now have a couple of weeks between that race in Greenville Pickens here in a few weeks time. Mad thinking going to I'm going to Greenville. And my understanding from those super late models and late model stock cars there than there used to sit. Quite a bit faster than what it hasn't been in years past. How long ago back here obviously. On this car is what we saw burn oil we had a new Smyrna. Certainly Newsom and always. On battery strength it's been integration. And competitive of their tour and obviously running going on the when the race. New Smyrna maybe there was some common players who. The you would expect to run well and they certainly there's not as they have been obviously pierce and Burton and Todd gill and then. And some. Julia welcome back to the show end judging by your social media. You've been out pretty much full head of steam all summer long has there been much downtime for you or off season long hasn't been much downtime. Four years since the season finale a year ago. Well thank you for for having me on the show I appreciated and you know it really busy off season. You know racing it had a 350 degree or there's a lot. Our take care of and I've had. Quite a good time and move around on the business side everything but I am more than ready to get their season underway federal help with started already thought about time. Finishing fourth in the KN pro series west standings a year ago second in the rookie standings to Tom DeLay and but seven top fives. I was well as thirteen top tens great accomplishments in that first year in the big body stock cars but let's transition and kind of stick was what Kyle's talking about. You had a lot of great accomplishments on the tracking your first season you do a lot off the track what was your greatest accomplishment away from the racetrack this year. That's the big question. I think you know getting mentioned fur around the form thirty under thirty let those really. Really a big deal I did it not only help them bring me exposure to the board they really showed that. You know my unique. Approached making Larry Greer work has been noted and applauded that's really cool. You know I don't know we get caught you know my speaking career passing it off a little bit more so fun to share my messages. Chair racing stories not a lot of fun and you know making him making that switched about being type and I we're breaking king live. Really pulling off even learn a lot last year with the Mac now I've at that point ready to go in tight for the championship this year. That's going to be my next question Fauria is a buddy mentioned fourth in the championship standings a year ago what were some of those lessons learned last year that you're hoping to apply to your new team this season. Definitely a go the big thing was you know tired and in conservation and you know. When you first need any kind of have to learn paying my eating too much and I not saving enough so I think that'll be. Good knowledge going into this season and did you know learning every paid you know I had that they used to be bigger car that after Peyton and I think migrate crap really. Became a lot better throughout last season I'm really excited. Take take from where we left off and go get some you consistent. Podium top five then I'm open for example went. And the good thing is the bulk of the schedule and it's a very good schedule indeed starting with a snap a 500 challenge but it encompasses a lot of racetracks that you've got to be on the last year. So you had a lot of good notes even though you're transitioning from one major team on the series. To another talk about the transition moving from bill Mac and Alan over to rob Bob friend Connie and how that's been for you here in this offseason. Yet it then it's been really good you know with me and went to the that they car and had no one's really excited to continue on and on the Internet bookings had flat. Last year and so I've been really excited to work with bill but they can we. You worked really well on our pre season testing and god that he'll Return of the King. Welcome me with open arms and you know we're joking around and everything couldn't really good chemistry. That I'm really excited for and you know weep you know have our one focus of going out there at winning I think we came close. We came close last year so my mind there's no pieces that there. Besides the next race is there any one race on the schedule but you're really. Pitching they get that really looking forward to this summer or maybe in the fall. Yes a few races actually at Sonoma look what I'm looking forward in the flat here and end up being my work straight of the even though I've. Need to go redeem myself there. But that I'm I'm really excited check out Spokane near upon the one track hasn't been you. Yet since I have a lot of fun getting on me tracking get at it really quickly so important that is what it. You know making sure they don't do anything that'll not only to get the first trip but potentially army for the second rate so I think it in any. And attacked you are drivers and a not just knew that if they define a notebook and went up a lot of great things in a very short period of time so. I'm and I'm intrigued them excited and a little nervous and a good way I think yeah having a little bit nerve. Help me appreciate your own crippling. Yet couple of one off shows as you mentioned and you mentioned earlier Carol it was supposed to open last weekend but our weather has forced them to reschedule to this weekend with their 75 lap late model race. And 125 laps southern modified race. Hickory motor speedway did get their action and on Saturday night Ryan milling ten picked up the win again and Charlie Watts and also went to Victory Lane part of double features for that division that Hickory this past weekend. Greenville Pickens speedway although the late models were off the worst some of the support divisions in action. Austin's a Merrill one in the super stocks and Andrew Kordell one India limited late models on the late models will be off again this week. And he wanted to late model tour will be their highlight this coming weekend. And the Irwindale speedway nick Joseph and I just picked up the race went in the late model class over Trevor Huddleston and Ryan Vargas. Those of the top three of their next event coming up. On April 8 so they almost have like a three weeks between events obviously the NASCAR KN pro series west will have the spotlight bear in two weeks' time. And of course a lot of other tracks are beginning their season Anderson motor speedway in South Carolina will kick into gear this upcoming Friday night. Myrtle Beach speedway which already have their icebreaker they'll have their spring fling it. Which will of course include NASCAR will mollify to orbit late models will be on the schedule this upcoming Saturday evening.
