From team Penske well we've got a little racing under our belt right now Joey we have seen the clash even though no points were paid we've seen qualifying. What are we learned so far. We've learned that. 2007. Seniors one thing I never did fail again. We won't race again did that affect our Daytona weeks that affect our qualifying effort and that's pretty much the case for everybody exactly right that was a good good sign the get go under the Ford withdrawn were happy about that. We solve this some last year with the Gibbs car staying together and when they do that they're awfully tough to deal with but now there's more ammunition on the Ford side with Stewart Haas racing coming over and that gives more opportunity for guys to work together within the manufacturer group. So not only this team Penske have the 222 and we have satellite team with between one in the wood Brothers. But now we have added Stewart Haas and we saw that Kevin and Brad and Jolie with the four car yesterday it worked together as a trio. That we haven't seen it was the first time we saw in 2017. L all the changes one of the things a race teams have to keep up with them. And they're not aware of all the changes as well as we saw the forty the 42 car guys jumped over the wall too many people and they got sent to the grudges like timeout for the rest of the effort you. While there was no problem with reserved seating because there's nobody there on the estimate well in less than 101000 people showed up for Saturday night race. And there weren't that many on Sunday beam watch all fun and lack it we had reserved seating in excess of 85 dollars. We're still using prices back and we had 80% 9% field stands. Now the prices may have been adjusted a little bit I simply don't believe in 2017. When we are trying to get people simply to drive the racetrack for a day event. Two hours possibly three hours away just for the day Saturday or Sunday to watch let's give them some incentive to get there. I don't think it an 85 dollar reserved seat we have much of an incentive. I don't think we should throw away tickets for the 500 or even this coming weekend from a Friday Saturday Sunday that the good good three day event. Which people will travel into. But a limited number of folks have the opportunity to travel into the clash and then state for the whole week so we have different audiences that were trying to capture. Well I don't know what the price was five years ago ten years ago that type thing for the clash or. The different generations of an over the years but I went and looked after after you sent that text. For example in the NFL ticket. A pre season ticket inaccuracies and technical you know they may you buy those as well as part of your package. They're in that same 85 dollar range as well my wife and him going to a concert not a major national. In terms of one of the bigger names that you hear on the radio all the time but tickets for about 85 dollars. I guess my point is my question is what is the number where do you put that number and I'd I get the chicken or the egg argument if if you make it so low that anybody will come and how do you know where you're Priceline is that you can't sell them for clearly there were many sold from what we saw on the experience. Yeah I highest prize I'm at a point right now where I don't wanna compare ourselves and the other sport I would ask you know what they're marketed it's well I looked out the market I think empty stands IC a 90% of the grand stands are empty. We have to solve that problem I don't wanna worry about competing against concerts are competing in Ciena fell. Or competing against any other race but you're simply did what entertainment dollars out of with people who have. Finite. Number of dollars and days that they can do things right so let's get them to the racetrack for free. And then maybe they'll come back and then sell your coats and so you're absolutely been no words we get you hear from restaurant more makers and and guys that run their own industry. The largest market of any rockets sodas and Beers and liquor drinks. Let's give them the racetrack lets give them eight. Haste of our industry because quite honestly the 75 lap race was a good event to watch C I've always thought that as well the alteration mentioned as well the shorter events that give fans a little taste of it. And we're gonna award points the other guys in the top ten and they get to carry those with exactly right through the playoffs now instead of once they get there those disappears it so it sounds complicated but once you see two or three seasons or two or three races going on in you see how the points playoff it comes you really quick.
