Watch Metallica Perform "Now That We're Dead" On 'Colbert'

May 16, 2017

Fresh from kicking off their U.S. tour, Metallica stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for loud, pounding, and rambunctious rendition of their newest single "Now That We're Dead" from their new album, Hardwired... To Self-Destruct.

"If you want to live forever, then first you must die," said James Hetfield before opening the song. Along with backing vocals from bassist Robert Trujillo and a speedy guitar solo from Kirk Hammett can only raise the already high expectations we look forward to seeing at Gillette Stadium on Friday, May 19th!
