Slash Headlining L.A. Zoo's Beastly Ball In Virtual Reality Performance

April 6, 2017

Welcome to the Jungle. Literally.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo's Beastly Ball, Slash of Guns N' Roses will be headlining the event in a special virtual reality performance.

The ball, which is produced by Citi, Live Nation and NextVR, will allow fans to watch Slash's performance, as well as see behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, rehearsals, and more. "I'm honored and proud to be a part of the L.A. Zoo's 50th Anniversary Beastly Ball," said Slash in a statement. "It's going to be the biggest yet, and I'm really looking forward to jamming live with some good friends." Also expected to attend the event includes actor/musician Jack BlackGrace Potter, and Bernard Fowler.

Slash, an active animal rights supporter and collector of exotic reptiles (once owned more than 80+ snakes!) is also a trustee on the board of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association.
