Following The Path With LULLWATER

There are moments in life when we must make a choice on which course to follow. No matter how excruciating those first steps may be, sometimes we just need to close our eyes and let the journey take us where we need to go. Well for one band out of Georgia, the musical path itself has taken the lead!

The band LULLWATER is fine with following the path. Granted it hasn’t always been easy for this group, but its members didn’t expect it to be. They have come to understand that the journey itself is the true test of any band. I mean, how many bands nowadays can really survive the ride on this machine we call music? Do they let their quest for artistic individuality get in the way, or do they use it to propel themselves towards longevity?  Well the band Lullwater is not only following a course of survival, but it is also making one hell of a soundtrack for the trip!

I recently had the chance to sit down with John Strickland and Joseph Wilson of the band Lullwater to talk about all things music. Take a listen to our chat about how it’s a great night when your eyes are closed, recording the album ‘Voodoo’ in New Orleans, and how you don’t pick the path… but rather the path picks you.
