Science Says Going To Concerts Leads To A Happier Life

August 17, 2016

If you're in a bad mood, there's a multitude of things you can do: you can go to the gym, hit a pillow, meditate. Or you can really feel good about yourself by regularly attending concerts!

Researchers from Victoria's Deakin University issued a survey to 1,000 Australians and discovered that those who attended any sort of musical event such as attending a big rock concert or a having night out full of dancing reported that their lives were much more satisfying than those that did not.

The study also notes that the communal aspect of a concert is a significant factor of the individual's "social wellbeing", in contrast to the experience of listening to music alone.

If you want to put yourself in a good mood right away, check out our CONCERTS page for upcoming shows, because science says so!
