Rockers React To Chester Bennington's Death

July 20, 2017

The rock world has been shaken to its core as one of the most powerful and recognizeable voices has left us. Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park, has died at the age of 41 due to an apparent suicide by hanging. What makes the circumstances of his death even more dreary is that Bennington's body was found on July 20th, the birthday of late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, who died under similar circumstances.

Upon hearing the sad news, members throughout the rock community have taken to social media to express their condolances and to air their grievances.

Hey you. Yes, you. The one going through some shit. The one feeling hopeless. The one feeling that you're out of options with nowhere to turn. Listen to me. It always gets better. Always. Stay strong. Keep your chin up. You WILL get through this. And, you'll be thankful someday that you did.
