Report: Chester Bennington, Lead Singer Of Linkin Park, Found Dead At 41

According to a report by TMZ, tragedy has struck the rock world again as Chester Bennington, the lead vocalist of Linkin Park, has died due to an apparent suicide by hanging.

TMZ said that Bennington was found in a private Los Angeles residence just before 9AM. 

Bennington has had a history of substance abuse and has struggled with addiction through the years, and has previously contemplated suicide after years of childhood abuse. His death has fallen on the 53rd birthday of late Soundgarden vocalist Chris Cornell, whom he had a close friendship with.

Chester Bennington was 41 years old and leaves behind six children from two marriages.
