Original Alice Cooper Lineup Makes Surprise Reunion

Ever since the original Alice Cooper lineup were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2011, the band would make it tradition to reunite at Gold Records Dallas. What made this year's reunion special was that it wasn't billed or promoted. They just simply showed up and started playing! It was even more surprising for those coming to see bassist Dennis Dunaway, who was holding a book signing for Snakes! Guillotines! Electric Chairs!: My Adventures in the Alice Cooper Group.

Guitarist Michael Bruce and drummer Neil Smith could already be seen attending the book signing, But things really lit up when Alice himself came by.  The book signing was put on pause, but with no complaints from the lucky fans. "They are having a blast visiting with the fans and it was such a generous interactive book signing that they were up there for over two hours. Somebody reminded them that it was time for a little music. They cleared the stage, came out and blew the roof off the place with Cooper classics. Why these guys are not making music today or touring today is beyond me," said photographer Mark Bowman.

The only original member not attending was Glen Buxton, who passed away in 1997 from pneumonia at the age for 49. Filling in for him was Ryan Roxie, who has been with the band from 1996-2006, and rejoined in 2012.

You can watch a brief clip of their performance below!
