Details on Mistress Carrie's Tough Ruck 2017

Support Team WAAF

March 3, 2017

The Tough Ruck is the hardest thing I have ever done, and the most rewarding.

26.2 miles, carrying a full military ruck sack, in combat boots, in honor of a fallen hero.

I started it back in 2014, after the ruck was moved off of the Boston Marathon route, after the bombings, and it was opened up to civilians.

There was 2014, it dodn't go so well for me. I was the last person to finish, it took me over 10 hours!

In 2015, I had a better idea of what I was in for, and I trained harder.

2016 brought a few new challenges, but the team stuck it out!

And now it's time for my 4th marathon, and "we're getting the band back together!"
