Curb Her Enthusiasm

You could say that as far as getting the best of your parents Cazzie David did pret-tay pret-tay pret-tay good.

Cazzie's mom is environmentalist and producer Laurie David. Her dad is...yup. Larry David. Her mom has an Academy Award. Her dad co-created on of the funniest shows ever ("Seinfeld") and THE funniest show ever ("Curb Your Enthusiasm"). Not to say that Cazzie won't earn her place in the world or Hollywood on her own, but "Leg Up? Party of one...your table's ready." Well, the good news is she is earning her place, showcasing this genetics lottery win that is her life. You can see she's her mother's daughter because she's a hard worker, and beautiful...

And you can see she's one hundred percent her father's daughter in her new web series, "Eighty Sixed".

It's basically webisodic "Curb" with millenials. She's observational, complains a lot and speaks with the kind of amusingly alert angst that her father has turned into an empire. The series isn't perfect, but it's also pretty funny. And it's nice to see a new young voice in comedy come to the surface that feels familiar. I watched for all of two minutes and was sold. From her "city pants" line I knew, "Yup, that's Larry David's daughter." Seeing as I'm counting down the days to the new season of "Curb" with similar anticipation to Patriots football, it's nice to get a little fix to tide me over. These are fun and easy to digest. With plenty of signature David-esque takeaways. Because secretly we're all miserable AF, and think most of these things to begin with. Some people are just better at putting those thughts to screen. Not gonna lie...she's a little easier on the eyes than her dad. Little bit.

Cazzie knows what's up. Comes from good stock. Dating Pete Davidson from SNL. We'll be hearing from her soon and often. Don't be surprised if following the final season of "Curb" she gets her own show. Call it "Curb Her Enthusiasm"? Maybe not. Hey, I thought her unique upbringing and fresh content deserved a mention. Like Larry said, "I always think of nice things but I never act on them." Well, in this case I did. So, enjoy.
