Linkin Park Returns To The Studio

January 7, 2016

The guys from Linkin Park are back in the studio to continue the work on their follow-up album to 2014's The Hunting Party. They recently posted a photo to their Facebook page of lead singer Chester Bennington putting down some vocal tracks with a caption that reads: "Back to work this week."

Linkin Park had began working on their new album late 2015, with the band's Mike Shinoda telling NME, "I have no idea what it'll sound like yet. It won't sound like The Hunting Party. We like to surprise people." The album is described as bringing back the band's signature rap/rock sound that made the band a hit in the early years of their success.

Late November 2015, Bennington left Stone Temple Pilots to focus his time on strictly Linkin Park.
