Kirk Hammett Comments On Metallica Possibly Working With Lady Gaga Again

April 24, 2017

Despite the technical mishap that occurred during their performance at the 59th Grammy AwardsMetallica fans seem eager to see another collaboration with pop singer Lady Gaga. Drummer Lars Ulrich told Chilean newspaper La Tercera that as much fun as it was performing with her, they probably won't be doing something like that for a while. "We already started fast-forwarding to the next chapter when we can do more of this. it's not one of those '20 lawyers, stategists and managers trying to force two people from two different world to figure out how to spend four minutes together on a national telecast.' Of any of these undertakings, this is about as organix and authentic as there's ever been one. We're just getting started."

While talking with Brazil's Radio Rock, guitarist Kirk Hammett said of a possible reunion with Gaga, "I don't know what's gonna happen in the future, I think it's a bit of a stretch for us to say, 'Yeah, we're gonna do something in the future!'"

"Maybe we will, maybe we won't. But we kind of have a lot on our plate right now."
