Izzy Stradlin Says Axl's Reason For Not Including Him In The GNR Reunion Is 'Bulls**t'

September 8, 2016

Former Guns N' Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin summed up Axl Rose's reason for not including him in the Guns N' Roses reunion in one word: "Bulls**t."

In an interview with Brazilian news show "Fantastico," Axl described working with Izzy as, "It's, like, you could have a conversation and think it's one way and the next day it's another way. And I'm not trying to take any shots at Izzy. It just his thing is kind of his thing, whatever that is."

Upon hearing this, Stradlin simply tweeted "Bulls**t. They didn't want to split the loot equally. Simple as that. Moving right along..."

Stradlin is responsible for starting Guns N' Roses alongside childhood friend Axl Rose in 1985 and was a huge contribution to the band's groundbreaking album, Appetite For Destruction as well as both Use Your Illusion albums. He would later leave the band in 1991 and has kept himself below the radar except during many Guns N' Roses shows, which included their Las Vegas residency in 2012.
