The Season 2 Trailer For "Ozark" Is Here And The Stakes Are Even Higher

August 2, 2018

When we last saw the Byrde family from the first season of Netflix's "Ozark", they were neck-deep in crime lords, drug cartels, money laundering, federal investigators, petty criminals and a whole lot more in what was supposed to be a quiet lake town.

Now the official trailer for season 2 is here and trouble follows Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) like a shadow while trying to maintain levels of sanity and balance in their marriage and in their family, and it appears things are about to get much worse.

According to the season 2 synopsis on Netflix, "Marty and Wendy struggle to balance their family interests amid the escalating dangers presented by their partnerships with the power-hungry Snells, the cartel and their new deputy, Ruth Langmore, whose father Cade has been released from prison. The stakes are even higher than before and The Byrdes soon realise they have to go all in before they can get out."

Ozark: Season 2 begins August 31st, 2018.
