David Letterman Replacing Neil Young To Induct Pearl Jam Into The Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame

April 5, 2017

After it was announced that Neil Young was confirmed to induct Pearl Jam into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, Young has had to cancel his appearance at the ceremony. “Due to illness, Neil Young is regrettably no longer able to induct Pearl Jam at this Year’s Induction Ceremony,” said the Hall of Fame said in a statement.

Instead former late night talk show host David Letterman will be inducting the grunge giants into the Hall of Fame. “The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is thrilled that David Letterman has agreed to induct Pearl Jam this Friday night at the 32nd Annual Induction Ceremony.” Pearl Jam has had a longstanding relationship with Letterman by appearing on his show multiple times both for interviews and as musical guests.
