Cold is More Upsetting than a Terrorist Attack?

April 27, 2018

It's finally spring. Right? RIGHT? I think so.

I think it's safe to say that NO ONE responded well to all of the unseasonably cold weather over the past few months, but maybe we overreacted just a LITTLE.

According to a new study, cold weather makes people just as upset as a TERRORIST ATTACK.

Researchers in Canada analyzed the tweets after terrorist attacks and tweets about cold weather over the past decade, and they found that people use equally depressing language in both cases.

And that's not the only bad news we got today about how the weather affects us.

A different study out of Poland found that warm weather makes us more STRESSED than cold weather.

So basically, cold weather makes us depressed, warm weather makes us stressed, and I guess we should REALLY enjoy ourselves during those couple of weeks in the spring and fall where the weather is actually nice. Basically, you've got like three days of decent weather coming up.
