John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo

If you do want to catch a case of marathon fever, head to the annual John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo. Runners, fitness enthusiasts, and the general public can enjoy more than 200 exhibits showcasing the newest fitness products, services, and technology, as well as seminars from industry elites. The expo is also the place where runners can pick up their official numbers for Monday’s race, so you can expect the entire Hynes Convention Center to be abuzz with marathon excitement. (Friday, April 14 to Sunday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Hynes Convention Center, Boston; free; all ages)

Cambridge Science Festival

As part of the Cambridge Science Festival, the Brattle Theatre is holding a weekend-long marathon of films that celebrate all things alien. The theater will show both classics, like The Iron Giant, and new flicks, including multiple screenings of 2016’s critically acclaimed Arrival. Tickets are available for advanced purchase for all screenings for $11 each. (Friday, April 14 to Sunday, April 16 at various times; Brattle Theatre, Cambridge, $11 per ticket; all ages)​

Hockey Club vs Boston Fire Hockey Club taking place on Saturday, April 15th 1:30 PM at

Warrior Ice Arena.  The game is open to the public and voluntary donations accepted at

the door.  Proceeds to benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation, Cops for Kids with Cancer

and The Boston Firefighters Burn Foundation.

Skydiving Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt

 Sunday, April 16 — Starts: 2:00 pm

Jumptown invites you to joins us for the annual Easter Bunny Jump and Community Easter Egg Hunt.

The Easter Bunny will be skydiving into the landing area at 2pm sharp to kick off the Easter Egg Hunt.
