With Guns N' Roses being the reunion of 2016 another reunion just might make 2017, and we're only a couple of weeks into the year!

Set to take place on Friday January 20th, 2017 (the same day as Donald Trump's presidential inauguration ceremony) Audioslave is slated to reunite as part of the Prophets of Rage's "Prophets of Rage and Friends Anti-Inaugural Ball" in Los Angeles, CA. Also on the bill includes Jack Black, the Los Angeles Freedom Choir, Vic Mensa, and Jackson Browne.

Earlier in 2017 guitarist Tom Morello spoke with Music Radar about the possibility of an Audioslave reunion in which he said, "I love Chris [Cornell> and I love what we did together. That door has certainly never closed in any way, but right now, it's looking like we're pretty busy. We're in the middle of a North American tour, I'm also working on a record of my own and the other guys have things going on, too."

Although many are very excited about their reunion, it begs the question whether or not this is a one time thing, or will there indeed be more Audioslave in the future?
