Tool's "Lateralus" Becomes The Most Downloaded Album on iTunes

August 5, 2019

After Tool broke the news that their entire discography would be available on streaming services, it was only a matter of time before the band would dominate the streaming charts. Days after they put their catalogue online, their 2001 album Lateralus became the #1 album on the iTunes albums chart.

But it wasn't just Lateralus sitting high on the chart. Many Tool tracks like "Forty-Six & 2", "Stinkfist", "Ænema", "Vicarious" and "Prison Sex" have ranked high on the top downloaded songs chart against artists like Lil Nas X, Shawn Mendes, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift.

Plus, with Tool's upcoming album Fear Inoculum dropping on August 30th, it can be expected that it will be making a significant splash on the charts everywhere.
