Tom Brady Explains Why He's Not The Highest-Paid Player in the NFL

May 3, 2019

During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the question arose why despite winning all of the time and six Super Bowl rings, he isn't the highest-paid player in the NFL.

"Winning has been a priority, and my wife makes a lot of money," says Brady.

Brady is actually the 20th highest-paid player, raking in $20,500,000 per contract. Meanwhile, Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is currently #1earning $35,000,000 per contract.  But according to Business Insider, Brady has reportedly turned away at least $60 million in contracts for the sake of the New England Patriots hiring better players.
