Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators Drummer Exits Tour for Emergency Surgery

With only a few dates left on their North American summer tour, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators drummer Brent Fitz has announced that he had to exit the tour due to emergency eye surgery.

"Unfortunately I’ve had to leave the current SMKC tour due to emergency surgery for a detached retina," Fitz wrote on his Twitter account.

He also announced that Shane Galaas (Yngwie Malmsteen, The B'z, Hughes Turner Project, Diesel Machine) would be filling in for him for the remainder of the band's tour dates. Check out Shane in action in his performance of "Epic Day" with The B'z in the video below.
