Sharon Osbourne Tears Up Over Ozzy's New Health Struggles & Jack's Attack

April 9, 2019

Sharon Osbourne had a moment during The Talk where she got a bit emotional while talking about her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, after he was forced to postpone all tour dates until 2020 following injuries sustained from a recent fall.

"He, at the beginning of the year, had a bad flu that went to bronchitis, that went to pneumonia," Sharon explained. "And then, when he had the flu, he came out of hospital and he had a bad accident at home. He fell."

"He fell in the middle of the night. Years ago, previously, he'd had a motorbike accident where he was in a coma for days. What he'd done more is he re-injured his back and neck and shoulders, and all of the metal rods and everything that were put in his body were dislodged. So we had to cancel his year of dates."

Sharon also expressed that becuase of the cancellations, Ozzy felt that he was letting his fans down. "He just feels terrible and he says it's the only thing he's done right in his life, is performing. And he just feels terrible."

But Ozzy wasn't the only Osbourne making headlines this week. Their son, Jack Osbourne, was the victim of a random attack outside a coffee shop in Hollywood, CA after a homeless man punched him in the face.

"He didn't see it coming; he was just on his phone. A homeless guy punched him in the face, and a guy that Jack was with kicked [the attacker] in the ribs. So, Jack followed him, called the police, and then [the attacker] pulled a screwdriver on the police. The police tased him and arrested him."
