Sharon Osbourne Says Ozzy is Getting Better, 'But It's Been A Very, Very Hard Road'

September 12, 2019

With the amount of touring, recording, and wild stuff Ozzy Osbourne has put himself through, the Prince of Darkness is something of a machine. During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Sharon Osbourne gave an update on her husband's ongoing recovery before he gets back on the road in February 2020.

"This thing happens to so many people," says Sharon. "But he gets up in the night, goes to the bathroom, comes back, falls on the rug and bashed his head on the side table, then he went this way and bashed his head on the post of our bed, and down he went. He didn't put his hands down and he went face down and his neck went back. And he had to have spinal surgery."

"Ozzy, the other day, put together an X-ray of his upper chest and his neck, and no wonder they call him 'Iron Man,' 'cause I tell you, he's got bolts — he's got so much metal in his body, it's frightening," she added.

As for his current status, Sharon assures fans "He's getting a lot better, but it's been a very, very hard road. He's gonna pick up the dates that we had to [postpone]. And hopefully it'll be starting in February."
