Fans Hoping For Seether's Shaun Morgan To Front A Nirvana Reunion

October 8, 2018

During the encore of their set at Cal Jam '18, the Foo Fighters staged an official reunion with surviving members of Nirvana featuring Joan Jett and Paul McCauley of Deer Tick. It was clearly one of the biggest highlights of the music festival, and even though it was an exciting moment to see Grohl, Novoselic, and Smear onstage together again, fans have a suggestion for the next time they decide to hold another reunion.

Specifically, fans are hoping that the Foo Fighters get hold of Seether's Shaun Morgan to take on Kurt Cobain's vocal duties. Emerging onto the world stage in the early 2000's, South Africa natives Seether were very influenced by Nirvana, and fans agree that Morgan has the voice to pull it off.

Seether also isn't shy about paying tribute to one of their favorite bands, often playing a variety of Nirvana songs during shows.
