Ozzy Osbourne Completes His New Solo Album

September 17, 2019

Ozzy Osbourne to date has one of the most extensive music catalogues in rock. Both with Black Sabbath and his solo band, Ozzy has twenty studio albums under his belt, along with a long list of live albums, compilation albums, and EPs. In a recent interview with The Sun, Osbourne announces that he has finished his newest solo album.

For the last year Osbourne had to spend several months in recovery from multiple surgeries that resulted from a fall. The incident had dislodged metal rods in his body that were surgically inserted following a 2003 ATV accident. Osbourne believes that after spending many months in self-pity, his upcoming solo album is "the greatest album I’ve done.”

Osbourne thanked Elton John, Tony Iommi, Jonathan Davis and Slash for keeping his spirits up, but also credits his collaboration with Post Malone's "Take What You Want" as the catalyst that got him motivated to make new music again.
