Olympic Figure Skaters Rock The Rink With AC/DC, Pink Floyd and "Game Of Thrones"

February 21, 2018

Now that the 2018 Winter Olympics have allowed popular songs with lyrics to be used in figure skating routines, the competitors have taken full advantage of the change by rocking their sport to the tune of AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Imagine Dragons, and even the Lannisters' theme song from "Game of Thrones!"

Although not all of them walked away with the gold medal, the internet saw nothing but gold in their reactions.

Hungarian skater Ivett Toth stood loud and proud with her song choices of "Back In Black" and "Thunderstruck" while donned in all-black, with fingerless gloves and a studded Angus Young vest!

Australian skater Brendan Kerry favored the tunes of Pink Floyd by syncing his routine to "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" and "Money." The internet, of course, was not short on hilarious commentary.

Moris Kvitelashvili of Georgia chose a more anthemic approach by chosing to skate to "Radioactive," "Dream," and "Believer" by Imagine Dragons

But one of the more popular skaters was Germany's Paul Fentz, who went full "Game of Thrones" fanboy by modeling his outfit after Jaimie Lannister and skating to the Lannisters' theme song from the television series.
