New Ozzy Osbourne Album to Drop in January 2020

October 29, 2019

2019 has been a difficult year for Ozzy Osbourne, but thankfully the Prince of Darkness has been getting better every day and hopes to start the next year on a high note. Especially since his wife/manager Sharon Osbourne revealed that his newest solo album is scheduled to drop in January 2020.

The unnamed album will be Ozzy's a follow-up to his previous album Scream, which was released in 2010.

During an appearance on the Jess Cagle Show, Sharon says that her husband paid an emotional toll during his recovery. If he were watching a documentary of a band on tour, he would be "near to tears", says Sharon. "He goes, 'I miss my life, I want my life back.' It's been really hard on him. But he's getting there. He'll be back."

Sharon also noted that once Ozzy fulfills his next year-and-a-half of touring, they will be dialing back his time on the road tremendously. "These kids have held on to their tickets for over a year, and he's going to go back and he's going to fulfill that committment. He's going to play those shows. And he's not totally retiring, but the touring, he won't be doing any more touring." Sharon later said that after the tour is finished, they would consider a Las Vegas residency in the future.
