June 25, 2019

Mötley Crüe's best-selling memoir The Dirt has received high acclaim both in its original book form and in its Netflix biopic. Now fans can listen to the band's full autobiography in audiobook form.

Bassist Nikki Sixx made the announcement on the band's social media, saying "You guys have been asking us for years. We've listened to you, and now you can listen to it too."

According to Mötley Crüe's website, "Fans have gotten flimpses into the band's crazy world of backstage scandals, celebrity love affairs, roller-coaster drug addictions, and immortal music in Mötley Crùe's autobiography The Dirt since 2001 when the book first came out and quickly became a New York Times bestseller. The autobiography of Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx, Vince Neil and Mick Mars features the full spectrum of sin and success, as well as a cautionary tale about the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. Now, Harper Audio and Dey Street Books present The Dirt in audiobook format for the first very first time."

The Dirt audiobook is available to order on Amazon, Google, Kobo and Libro.fm.
