The LA Fire Department Honors Their Super Bowl Bet by Flying Patriots Colors

February 13, 2019

Adding another Super Bowl victory to back our name as "Title Town" never gets old. What also doesn't get old is watching people humiliate themselves in over a bet they were confident they were going to win.

Perfect example is the wager set between the Boston Fire Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department. After the LA Rams lost Super Bowl LIII to the New England Patriots, LAFD Chief Ralph Terrazas honored their debt and posted the following video to his Twitter account by donning a Brandin Cooks jersey (very clever), and flying the Flying Elvis flag on their trucks and on their flagpole.

BFD Commissioner Joe Finn retweeted Terrazas' video, adding "Movies are made in Hollywood, Dynasties are made in New England. Go Pats."
