April 23, 2018

"I'll be at something like Comic-Con, and the actors are like 'Oh my God. This is insane with all of these fans and there's so much interaction!' This is like every f**king day out on tour," Rob Zombie says in the trailer for Long Live Rock: Celebrate the Chaos.

Directed by Jonathan McHugh, the documentary takes an in-depth look at what makes hard rock/heavy metal fans the way they are featuring interviews from Lars Ulrich of Metallica, Corey Taylor of Stone Sour/Slipknot, Jonathan Davis of Korn, Greta Van Fleet, Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach, M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold, Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless, Caleb Shomo of Beartooth, Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine/Audioslave/Prophets of Rage and many, many more artists chronicling all of the highs and lows of their genre of music.

The documentary doesn't just feature some of the biggest names in rock. It also features testimonials from normal, everyday people who also happen to fill a stadium with thousands of other fans to see their favorite bands. "I'm a whole different person when I'm at one of these concerts," says Jesse of West Virginia. "You can de-stress your life and be in the moment."

Long Live Rock also covers the joys of crowd surfing, the mayhem of mosh pits, and the real dangers of mixing substance abuse and mental health.
