Listen To David Bowie's Latest Single "Lazarus" Off New Album

December 17, 2015

You may have seen the strange, avant-garde music video for "Blackstar," the first single off of David Bowie's upcoming album, also cited "Blackstar." Click here if you haven't. In the meantime, Bowie has released the audio track titled "Lazarus," chuck filled with haunting vocals, gloomy horns and woeful guitars that preludes the official music video's premiere, which will be released January 7th, 2016.

Considering the amount of creativity (and weirdness) put in to the "Blackstar" video, one can only fathom the level of ambition put in to the upcoming "Lazarus" video.

Aside from Bowie's new album, he is also the creative mind behind the off-Broadway play, also titled Lazarus, and this is also the same and only song off of "Blackstar" featured in the play. Michael C. Hall, who will be acting in the play will also be performing the song "Lazarus" December 17th, 2015 on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. So if you ever wondered what it would be like to see Dexter sing a David Bowie song, now's your chance.
