Lil Wayne Reportedly Quits Blink-182 Tour

UPDATE: Lil Wayne addressed the rumors of him leaving his tour with Blink-182 and assured fans that he won't be quitting. "Yesterday was krazy! But I want all my fans to know I won’t be quitting this tour! I’m having too much fun with my bros blink-182," Lil Wayne wrote on his Twitter. "Bangor, ME See you tomorrow."


Blink-182's co-headlining tour with rapper Lil Wayne is meant to be one of the most exciting summer tours of 2019. But during their concert at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA, it appears that the rapper is ready to call it quits only two weeks into the tour.

Fans report that Lil Wayne abruptly exited the stage after four songs, cutting his hour-long set down to twenty minutes. According to those in attendence, Lil Wayne made complaints about the size of the crowd and that there were not enough of "his" fans in the audience. There was also a weather alert for the area, which could have affected the travel for those attempting to make it to the show.

In a since deleted tweet, Blink-182's sound engineer Ben Burns posted “Soooo… Lil Wayne just said he was over it and walked off stage 40 minutes early."

Confused by Lil Wayne's behavior, the members of Blink-182 took a playful jab at the rapper during their set. "“We are goin to play one more song then we are going to play more. You know why? We are contractually obligated!”
