Dave Grohl has had countless career milestones in his lifetime. But visiting the most famous street in the world has got to be at least in the top 5.

It was revealed that Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl is set to appear on the 50th anniversary episode of Sesame Street and will spend some time with some A-list muppets like Elmo and Big Bird. In the Instagram post below, Grohl is seen holding a map of the United States. So his segment could have something to do with all 50 of the US states.

Dave Grohl was incredible. Thanks for playing with us! A great way to wrap up this week’s shoot! #sesame50 #puppeteer #muppeteer #sesamestreet #elmo

The 50th anniversary of Sesame Street will begin in February 2019, though it is unknown when Grohl's episode can be seen on the air.

This isn't Grohl's first rodeo with the Muppets either. He appeared in an epic drum battle against Animal during ABC's series The Muppets.

Then there was the time Grohl had a cameo in the 2011 film The Muppet Movie as the drummer in a knockoff muppets band, The Moopets as "Animool."
