Five Finger Death Punch has had a long history delivering hard-hitting covers of songs by LL Cool J, The Offspring, Bad Company, The Animals and more. Their cover of "Blue on Black" by Kenny Wayne Shepherd is the latest addition to that list, and they have recruited the talents of Brian May of Queen, country rocker Brantley Gilbert, and the song's original creator Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

In a press release for this edition of the song, "Proceeds from this song to be donated to The Gary Sinise Foundation to benefit First Responders."

According to the Gary Sinise Foundation's mission statement, the organization was created to "serve our nation by honoring our defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need."
