Faneuil Hall's Oldest Restaurant, Durgin-Park, Shutting Down Permanently

Durgin-Park, the oldest restaurant in Faneuil Hall, will soon be closing its doors for good.

According to WBZ reporter Kristina Rex was told by the CEO of Ark Restaurants, Michael Weinstein that, “the closing is inevitable, as the restaurant is not profitable anymore.” The restaurant will be closing on January 12th.

Durgin-Park has been in Faneuil Hall since 1827 where they would serve “Yankee-style cuisine,” like clam chowder, prime rib, and Boston schrod.
