Disturbed's "The Sound Of Silence" Used In International Space Station Video

October 30, 2017

As if Disturbed's breathtaking cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence", we can now confirm that it is officially "out of this world."

NASA's Johnson Space Center recently shared a collection of powerful images taken of Earth from the International Space Station, and used Disturbed's "The Sound of Silence" as the epic track to the video.

“Sharing the incomparable silent beauty of our planet with all our fellow travelers on this, our Spaceship Earth.”

The also added at the end of the video, “Our thanks to Mr. Paul Simon and Disturbed. Our thanks to all the people within the partnership of the International Space Station who show us daily what heights we can achieve together.”
