Dave Grohl Gave A Lucky Foo Fighters Fan One Of His Shoes

October 16, 2017

It's been widely known that throughout the years, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters has earned the reputation of the "nicest guy in rock n' roll" through many of his selfless acts of kindness towards fans, bandmates, and people in general.

But at the show in Baltimore, MD, Good Guy Grohl has struck again when one lucky Foo Fighters fan was gifted something rock stars don't normally give fans: a shoe.

A fan by the name of Sabryn was backstage and on crutches due to a previous injury and was met by both Grohl and his orthopedic doctor, Dr. Lew Schon who treated Grohl's broken leg and was even brought onstage to sing "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes! THAT doctor.

Dr. Schon advised Sabryn that she should be wearing a shoe over her leg brace. Sabryn explained that she didn't own any shoes big enough. That is when Good Guy Grohl sprang into action.

Grohl ran back to his dressing room to retrieve one of the orthopedic high tops he wore when he broke his leg in 2015. And like a modern-day rock n' roll Cinderalla, Sabryn wore the shoe with pride.

Check out photos of the encounter below!

And in case you missed it, here is the footage of Dr. Lew Schon's White Stripes performance here at Fenway Park back in 2015!
