Zac Brown Band Cranks Out Blistering Metallica Cover with Dave Grohl

February 1, 2019

There's a running joke that country artists and southern rock artists only sing about how they got their heart broken, their dog died and their truck broke down. But based on a recent Zac Brown Band concert, they've expanded their repertoire into the metal world.

During their performance in Atlanta, GA, the band decided to break out a blistering cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" and they got a little help on the vocal end with Foo Fighters founder Dave Grohl! And who would have thought that Kirk Hammett's badass guitar solo could translate so well onto the electric fiddle?

Grohl managed to sneak in a quick cameo with the band because the Foo Fighters are also scheduled in Atlanta to headline the DirecTV Super Saturday concert the night before the Super Bowl.
