Corey Taylor Blasts Holocaust & Slavery Deniers

July 9, 2019

Corey Taylor is not the kind the guy who bites his tongue and keeps his opinions to himself. As the author of five books, Corey has nothing to apologize for when it comes to expressing his personal views.

Now he has a new target in his sights: deniers of the holocaust and slavery.

"I’m gonna say this for the f**kers in the back," Taylor wrote on his Twitter. "JUST BECAUSE YOU DON’T BELIEVE SOMETHING IS REAL, THAT DOESN’T MEAN IT ISN’T REAL. Denying things like the Holocaust, slavery, etc is a travesty to the memory of the survivors and disrespectful to the people who fought for them."

Many holocaust deniers believe that the murder of 6 million European jews, as well as 5 million gypsies, catholics, homosexuals, and people with physical and mental disabilities, is a hoax. Although most deniers agree that the Nazis were responsible for some of the killings, they also believe that the numbers are greatly exaggerated.

Many European countries have made holocaust denial a criminal act, as well as pass laws protecting jews and minorities from hate speech.

Earlier this month, a principal of a Florida high school was fired for refusing to call the holocaust a "factual, historical, event."
